Ophenia the co-founder of Digital Crew along with the marketing director of Cebu Pacific Air presented at the Mumbrella 360 conference that took place between 5th – 7th November that saw 1,500+ attendees from all over the world. The conference welcomed renowned marketing mavens from the industry that came together to discuss ideas, perspectives and challenges under one umbrella.

The networking meet that was spread over 75 sessions saw the likes of the WPP global CMO Laurent Ezekiel and the Accenture Interactive Operations global president Nikki Mendonca deliver their keynotes along with many other traditional media and marketing players that united on a single platform to talk about the future – Asia.

Little Yellow Plane’s Big Flight

Digital Crew together with Cebu Pacific, changed the face of airline marketing with their approach to innovation. The multilingual firm leveraged creativity coupled with local technology to capture not only wallets but also the hearts of Chinese tourists that travelled to the Philippines as tourists, explorers, visitors etc. Michelle spoke about Cebu Pacific Airline’s journey and the challenges that sprang up from the communication gap which was successfully bridged with a Chinese digital marketing strategy that included campaigns on WeChat, Weibo, Baidu, Toutiao, Youku and Mafengwo.

The Airline company not only connected with their target audience but also rose up to the first spot on the WeChat ranking table in June this year.
